Calicut University (CU) Admission 2016 for UG programs (Except UG programs which admission will take place through entrance examination B Voc programs and Afsal-ul-ulama) will be based on merit rank or score card of entrance examination. CAP Seat Details 2016

Registration and Fee Submission: The online registration will commence from 18th May, 2016. Online registration will be completed in single stage. Candidates must have deposit registration fee (Rs. 250/- for General Category and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST) via e-payment. It is essential to deposit fee in given time schedule. Candidates should know that fee will not be refunded.
Merit List or Rank: Merit list will prepare according rules of marking scheme. Aspirants candidates should be matched with eligibility criteria. Merit list will be published on official website (www.cuonline.ac.in) after registration.
Allotments: Seat allocation will be based on merit rank or rank card of candidate. There will be Five allotment round for AIDED, GOVERNMENT COLLEGES and UN AIDED COLLEGES. After these round there special round shall be conducted by the University after collecting the vacancy position in each category of seats from the colleges.

Admissions in various courses will take place through seat allotment rounds. Candidates who get first choice during round-I to round-III, can accept the allotted seat or can up-grade their choices. All candidates should have to know that if you accept first round allotment seat then cancelled higher choices otherwise you will have to take admission according higher choices.
Permanent Admission: Candidates who get admission on first option and they are satisfied with seat allocation then candidate can go for permanent admission. Then candidate will not consider for higher choices.
Temporarily Admission: If candidate allot first option and they want to take admission on allotted seat with willing for higher choices then candidate choose temporarily admission.
Report at Allotted College
After all admission formalities candidate will get allotment letter which include name of allotted college and reporting date and time. Candidates will have to report at allotted college in given schedule with original documents. It is essential to all candidates that admission fee must have deposit in time period for admission confirmation, if any candidate fail to report or submit fee then admission can be cancelled by authority.
